Opportunity Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Continuity Management (BCM) professional with 6 to 10 years of experience. The role is based in Riyadh, KSA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk assessment, business impact analysis, business continuity planning, crisis management, incident response, technical knowledge, communication, stakeholder management, training, compliance, and continuous improvement. Project management skills are also essential for successfully implementing business continuity measures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Assessment and Analysis: Identify and assess potential risks that could disrupt business operations, conduct risk assessments, and analyse the impact and likelihood of potential threats.
- Business Impact Analysis: Understand critical processes, functions, and resources of the organization, assess potential consequences of disruptions, and prioritize recovery efforts based on business impact.
- Business Continuity Planning: Develop comprehensive business continuity plans outlining strategies, procedures, and resources required to maintain essential operations during disruptions.
- Crisis Management and Incident Response: Knowledge of incident response procedures, communication protocols, and decision-making during emergencies, capable of guiding organizations through crisis situations.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT infrastructure, data backup and recovery solutions, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and disaster recovery techniques to identify vulnerabilities and design effective solutions.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders, communicate complex concepts, facilitate discussions, and gain buy-in from key decision-makers.
- Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees about their roles during disruptions, and conduct drills and exercises to ensure preparedness.
- Compliance and Regulatory Knowledge: Awareness of industry-specific regulations and standards, guides organizations in meeting regulatory expectations.
- Continuous Improvement and Evaluation: Conduct post-incident reviews, identify areas for enhancement, and refine business continuity strategies.
- Project Management: Effectively plan, execute, and monitor business continuity initiatives, and manage timelines, resources, and budgets for successful implementation.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Business Continuity Management.
- Expertise in risk assessment, business impact analysis, and business continuity planning.
- Knowledge of crisis management, incident response, and technical solutions.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and training skills.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements, ISO 22301.
- Proven experience in continuous improvement and project management.

This is on an initial 12-Month Contract in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
