Role Purpose
The Traded Risk Transformation Business Analyst is to provide business analysis expertise and support for the implementation and/or enhancement of the Strategic Trade Data Adoption Workstream and supporting processes.
This may include (but is not restricted to):
- Requirement (trade data attributes) gathering and documentation.
- Trade data analysis and normalization
- Data attribute mapping between TR systems and strategic source systems
- Review and appraisal of technical / functional specifications.
- Test planning, testing and support to facilitate user acceptance testing.
- Liaising directly with software delivery teams.
The Business Analyst will be aligned to a risk domain and / or type of change specialism. The BA will also work closely with other offshore counterparts to ensure perfect coordination between Offshore and Onshore.
Experience & Skillset
- The Traded Risk Transformation Business Analyst must have 5+ years of experience as a BA within Traded Risk in large complex organisations. Financial services organisation experience highly preferred with specific Risk/Trade Data expertise
- Market Risk & Traded Credit Risk experience (preferably change delivery)
- Previous experience in data (preferably trade data) related projects
- Good traded product knowledge and ability to understand the impact of trade attributes on risk measurements
- Understanding of full trade lifecycle preferred (not mandatory)
- Ability to analyse large volumes of data and understand commonalities in data
- Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) - the ability to communicate effectively and clearly is vital.
