Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for forecasting and budgeting, conducting deep dive analysis of forecast vs actual, month end and quarter end reporting, and preparing decks and presentations for senior management with commentaries on variance analysis, competitor analysis, and other key business metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts and budgets

- Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement

- Conduct deep dive analysis of forecast vs actual results and provide recommendations for corrective action

- Prepare timely and accurate monthly and quarterly financial reports, including variance analysis and commentary

- Develop and maintain financial models to support decision making and forecasting

- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives, including competitor analysis and market research

- Develop and deliver presentations for senior management and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations on financial performance, trends, and issues

- Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting

- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial reporting and analysis

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's/PG degree in finance, accounting, or a related field

- 2-5 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting tools preferred

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
