Business Analyst/Senior Business Analyst - eCommerce - IIT/NIT/BITS

The senior business analyst is a trained individual whose role is to over-see the business process analysis and execute the collection, elicitation, and recording of business requirements for more and better strategic project developments.

- Strong story-telling & articulation skills ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audience .

- Provide solutions but not limited to : Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Propensity Modelling, Churn Modelling, Lifetime Value Estimation, Forecasting, Recommender Systems, Modelling Response to Incentives, Marketing Mix Optimization, Price Optimization, Performance Marketing dashboards etc

- Creating business dashboards for Business heads & CXOs

- Designing and implementing the analytical projects for insights which drive the business goals and decisions (Ex: How to improve Order value, how to improve conversions etc)

- Defining & Tracking metrics which help evaluate the health of business

- Mentoring & Planning the work of Business analysts

- Building automated alerting systems for proactive & preemptive actions

Must have : Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques

- Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of the following languages : SAS, Python, R

- Provide solutions but not limited to : Customer Segmentation & Targeting, Marketing Mix Optimization, Price Optimization

- Responsible for developing new product/ service oriented strategies and Communicate strategies to the technical team and implement them.

- Identify and solve weaknesses in and out of the organization.

- Develop, document and maintain complex business models and should interact with all departments and should participate on business meetings of the organization.

- Explore new ways of opportunities to increase client/customer satisfaction.

- Develop solutions for complex business problems inside the organization.

- Conduct training programs both inside and for clients to implement new business model.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering from premier institutes preferred

- R, SAS, Qlikview, Google Analytics, MixPanel (GOOD TO HAVE)

- Excel, MySQL (MUST)

- Experience with RDBMS & Business Intelligence is needed

- Experience in handling big data sets (Structured or unstructured data). Ability to understand business problems and convert them to an optimal data strategy.
