Business Analyst - Sales Planning Domain (Manufacturing)
- Identifies business issues, recommends, and designs solutions, and implements new operational processes and procedures to enable and enhance effectiveness of sales reps, management, and support functions.
- Supports a variety of sales activities, including quota management, territory management, commission plan management, forecasting, and in-depth reporting.
- Additionally, this position is involved in cross functional projects and will be tasked with representing the needs and requirements of the sales organization.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage and work to continuously improve the territory management process.
- Analyze account portfolios for balance, geographic centricity, and associated quota.
- Partner with Sales Management to create and manage sales quotas per business requirements.
- Support Forecasting process through reporting, analysis & data structure.
- Create & manage ad-hoc reports, analysis, insights for Sales leadership & executives.
- Maintain and expand process documentation on wiki.
- Engage cross-functionally with leadership and teams across Sales, Technology, and Finance teams on projects.
Qualification And Experience:
1. MBA in Marketing with 3-5 years of experience in sales & revenue operations, finance or other data analysis & insights centric roles.
2. Ability to compile, analyze and present data, findings and progress in a concise manner.
Highly proficient in MS Excel; proficient in other Microsoft Office suite of products.
3. Effective communication (i.e., written, verbal and presentation).
4. Experience in CRM suites (Salesforce preferably) and a solid understanding of sales systems and processes.
5. Collaborative, team player with positive attitude and creative problem-solving mindset
Comfortable working with and presenting to senior leadership, including building consensus and navigating conflicts.
6. Good project management skills to drive project execution & manage stakeholder expectation.
7. Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and work to establish process.
8. Exceptional time management skills and an ability to handle multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
9. Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamically changing environment.
