Business Analyst/Risk Analyst

What you'll do :

- Work along with multiple stakeholders to understand business problems and leverage data to drive analytics driven solutions

- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering Techniques

- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data

- Develop custom data models and algorithms/logics to apply to data sets

- Build and update dashboards on Superset/Tableau to drive actionable insights and self-service for stakeholders

Provide solutions to business problems through quick adhoc analysis with actionable insights and recommendations

- Work independently on robust analytical solutions using advanced analytics and statistical techniques

- Automate routine reporting to dashboards with advanced filtering and deep dive capabilities

- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis/data pulls to support key business initiatives

- Storyboarding and presenting analysis in an effective manner to business stakeholders

What you need to succeed :

- A minimum of 4 years of overall experience in data analytics or data science

- Graduate in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative focus

- Excellent knowledge of SQL and Python to manipulate data and draw insights from large data sets

- Good to have expertise with building Tableau Dashboards

- Expertise on Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, PowerPoint etc.

- Experience with data mining and cleaning, exploratory analysis, visualizations and metrics creation

- Knowledge and experience in statistical and data mining techniques: (Clustering, GLM/Regression, Random Forest, Boosting, Trees, Text mining, artificial neural networks, Deep Learning concepts etc. ) and their real-world advantages/drawbacks.

- Knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests and proper usage, etc. )

- Strong analytical capabilities & logic driven mindset

- Expertise in stakeholder & project management, strong analytical capabilities & logic driven mindset

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to distil complex subjects to a wider audience

- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements to meet stakeholder needs

- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high degree of ambiguity
