Business Analyst - Reference Data

Looking for Reference Data - Business Analyst.

Job Description:

The company is looking for a candidate who can execute various Reference Data client mandates

1. Build and maintain strong relationship with clients to understand their requirements and accordingly execute Reference data programs (design, develop and implement Reference data solutions)

2. Ability to work with a team to execute reference data projects as per client mandate

3. The Business Analysts (BA) will report to the work-stream leads. The role of BAs is to help

- Determine the functional delivery roadmap

- Assist with the resolution of analysis related risks and issues

4. Other responsibilities involve:

- Working closely with other work-stream BAs as well as the Architecture team to share knowledge and standardize the process

- Identifying and escalating design issues and risks.

Qualification:

Post graduate degree/diploma from a reputed institute.

Skills:

The candidate should have strong understanding of Client/ Instrument or Product Reference data and understand its usage in front to back applications and Regulatory Reporting

1. Strong understanding of regulation driven reference data programs related to client and instrument data, SSI, trade related legal contracts and various regulations impacting the same

2. Good competency in business requirements gathering, solution design, planning, and implementation preferably in large scale global programs (preferably from an Investment Bank or consultancy background)

3. Knowledge of regulatory requirements under Basel framework, FATCA, DFA, EMIR, MiFID etc will be a plus

4. Good understanding of Banking operations, IB Front-to-back flow, Trade Management systems, and Risk Management systems

5. Good analytical and problem solving skills along with good verbal and written communication skills

6. Ability to work with colleagues across global locations

7. Business Analysis/Project Management Certifications will be a plus.
