Knowledge / Abilities / Skills:
- Experience in investment banking domain.
- Min of 3 years' experience as Business Analyst (Full time)
- Minimum 1-year exp.in Product/Instrument Reference Data.
- Should take care of Change Management, Requirement Gathering, Process Mapping, BRD, UAT
- Good to have - Regulatory reporting
- Exposure to Agile methodology
- Must have strong communication and organization skills; multi-tasking and time management skills are essential
- Must have cross-functional business and application knowledge
- Must have sufficiant technical background
- Must be able to take direction well but work independently, and have the ability to learn and assimilate information quickly.
- Must demonstrate a positive and professional attitude, personal integrity, problem solving ability
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project) tools
- Quick Learner
- Ability to break down business problems into logical tasks
- Ability to think creatively
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders, lead meetings and report
Key Objectives and Responsibilities of this role will include the following:
- 100% hands-on senior consultant role, which will also include project management aspects.
- Define and document business requirements in BRD
- Develop fully defined logical and physical data models as related to assigned task and/or project
- Document business and functional requirements, process/data diagrams, and other deliverables
- Attend requirement reviews with business, IT, testers and end users
- Perform and manage UAT
- Conduct impact assessment on applications when new functions/features are proposed or designed
- Be involved with project plans detailing the expected level of effort and time required and consistently meet the allocated milestones
- Take the initiative to suggest new standards, implement new strategies and take on special projects
- Strong familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle and Agile
- Good team player, able to balance the needs of stakeholders and IT, and able to manage internal IT conflicts and demands as needed
- Ability to prepare standard and ad-hoc presentation decks in a timely manner on required topics, from high level functional overview to detailed technical overview of key data flows
- Ability to effectively engage and work with a global team
- Assisting the project managers and development managers to keep project status information up to date, to identify risks and mitigate against them
