Business Analyst/Product Owner - Publishing House

We are one of the oldest global publishing house (HQ in London) & setting up Product engineering division in Bengaluru, India.

We are expanding our product owner team & looking for Business Analyst for content division.

Position : Business Analyst/Product Owner

Experience : 10 to 12 Years

Location : Bengaluru

Job Type : Permanent(full time)

Preferably someone who can join us immediately or can join in short notice.

Job description :

- Must be BE/B.tech Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science.

- Minimum 10+ years industry experience.

- You should possess a strong belief in agile and lean thinking

- Must have the ability to connect business, technology and user requirements to create technology solutions

- Should have worked with multiple Agile methodologies including SCRUM, Kanban, XP, Lean

- Should be comfortable working at all tiers of modern applications, from the frontend all the way to the database

- Must have an entrepreneurial attitude that gets high quality projects done quickly

- Must care about selecting the right tool for the right job

- You should be passionate about your craft and want to be surrounded by like-minded individuals

Responsibilities :

- Design technology solutions by connecting business, technology, user and customer requirements.

- Convert solutions into user stories along with acceptance criteria, wireframe and additional support documents

- Create and own product backlog

- Help project sponsors and product owners to prioritise the user stories

- Keeping in touch with every stakeholder regularly

- Helping to further the Agile community within the organisation

- Helping the team to continuously improve their process
