JOB DESCRIPTION: Business Analyst - Private Equity

Business knowledge PE

- Knowledge of private equity fund structures designs & hierarchies, Special purpose vehicles, standalone funds,

- Knowledge on the role of Investors' classes, GP class, carry class, Affiliated / Non-affiliated classes.

- Knowledge of management fee computation, preferred returns and carried interest computations.

- Knowledge of various waterfall calculations

- Knowledge of various ratios viz. Internal rate of return, Time weighted return, Investment multiple.

Business knowledge Hedge

- Knowledge of Hedge fund structures designs & hierarchies, standalone funds, master-feeder funds and the role of each entity in the fund structure.

- Knowledge on the role of Investors' classes, GP , Sidepocket, Multicurrency etc

- Knowledge of management fee computation,Incentive computation, HWM management Your responsibilities

- Educational qualification - CPA or CA

- 10 +years' experience in Capital markets industry or Hedge Fund/PE industry

- Strong business knowledge in Private Equity / Hedge Fund life cycle

- Sound Knowledge of SDLC / Agile Software development life cycle.

- Ability to manage delivery and escalations

- Capable of acting as a catalyst in understanding / appreciating user requirements and effectively communicating the requirements to the in-house Development Team

- Capable of project planning, timely delivery and progress reporting

- Participate / Lead any special consulting projects or assignments (client or internal) as may be required by the business

- Recommend "best possible" solution which meets business requirements by internal assessments / comparison with competitor software applications

- Hands on experience on any leading PE product ( Efront, investran etc.)

- Should be techno functional with at least some exposure to databases and excel knowledge on formula

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal), organizational skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential

Work Timings:- 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM IST

Work Location:- Bangalore/Mumbai/Chennai.
