Profile: Business Analyst-P&C Insurance Domain
Location: Anywhere from India metros
Required for a start up firm dedicated to North American Insurance Industry.

Job Description:
- Business Analyst with Property & Casualty Insurance ( Personal & Commercial) experience.
Responsibilities:
- Interact with all relevant stakeholders (Business heads of Claims,UW,Billing etc) to help define and document business requirements for property and casualty insurance related projects.
- Define systems scope and objectives of business requirements, including documentation of requirements utilizing use cases and UML diagrams and work closely with Account Manager and Delivery Lead
- Map and document AS-IS and TO-BE business process flows using tools like Visio.
- Develop and maintain a customer-focused relationship with business users/heads and other IT areas by exhibiting a high level of collaboration, timely communication and responsiveness.
- Clearly set expectations with all parties involved in each project and then successfully deliver projects, thus meeting those expectations.
Required Skills:
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of total I.T. experience including at least 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst.
- Must have strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
- Use Case development experience is required; UML diagraming experience is preferred.
- Property & Casualty insurance is required.
- Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Business process workflow experience; documenting current “as-is” state and recommended “to-be” state of a process using VISIO.
- Strong facilitation skills; experience conducting and leading requirements gathering sessions.
- Must be customer focused – meaning must be able to understand the importance stakeholders business objectives and drive the process towards achieving those objectives.
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven track record in working with all levels of an organization’s technical and business departments.
- Must be flexible, enthusiastic; and has very strong organizational, task management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to complete deliverables on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
