Business Analyst (Mergers & Acquisition)

- Compiles and analyzes data required for merger, acquisition, and divestiture projects.

- Performs integrated revenue/expense analysis.

- Develops projections, reports, and presentations of the impact of a merger/acquisition on the organization. Performs financial forecasting and modeling.

- Prepare required documentation. Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings.

- Assists with project management activities.

- Perform market research and analysis, including analysis of key business drivers and market, competition and industry risk and opportunity analysis.

- Synthesize research to be used in modelling, competitive analysis, industry analysis, negotiation support and various other applications.

- Prepare detailed financial models, including scenario analysis.

- Prepare valuation analysis using a range of valuation techniques, including discounted cash flow analysis, comparable market multiples and precedent transaction analysis.

- Assist in the due diligence process.

- Prepare marketing materials and investment memos.

- Provide strategic advice to clients across a range of industries and transactions.

Qualification And Experience:

1. CA or MBA (Finance) with very strong attention to detail and are analytical and logical thinkers with a passion for corporate finance. Being a strong team player, with the ability to adapt to changing requirements or deadlines in support of Co's goals is also important.

2. Dedicated and motivated individual with high career aspirations and a strong work ethic.

3. An ability to work independently to complete tasks.

4. An ability to work well under pressure with multiple competing deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail.

5. Results oriented and energetic self-starter.

6. Strong computer (specifically Excel and PowerPoint) and financial modelling skills.

7. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

8. Working knowledge of the GAAP and International Finance and Accounting concepts and principles as it relates to M&A transactions.

9. Strong written and verbal communication/presentation skills
