The Opportunity:
The Business Analyst is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to review, refine, and analyse existing and new processes within the application journey. The incumbent will ensure alignment of process documentation and maps with technology platforms, solutions, and business objectives. In this role the incumbent will also be responsible for collaborating with various teams and departments to assist with process improvements and provide data analytics and metrics to propose solutions and review existing processes.
What you'll be doing every day:
- Evaluate existing processes and provide data driven recommendations and solutions for optimization.
- Prioritize process optimization strategies using data analytics, metrics, and feedback from stakeholders.
- Obtain and present data analytics to support process improvement projects and demonstrate alignment with business solutions and objectives.
- Develop a review process for existing processes to ensure efficiency and continued alignment with evolving business needs.
- Develop and maintain a database of existing and future technologies and platforms used to support application journey processes.
- Collaborate with teams and departments to identify areas of improvement and support improvement strategies with process knowledge and data analytics.
- Develop informative and actionable reporting to identify opportunities for improvements aligned with business trends.
- Collaborate with customer facing teams to identify pain points in the application journey and utilize feedback loops to propose solutions and optimization strategies.
- Conduct strategic surveys and analyse results to identify opportunities and pain points within the application process journey.

- Ability to effectively analyse data and provide recommendations to various departments within the organization
- Strong analytical abilities, detail-oriented and high level of accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrates innovative ideas, developing creative solutions and motivating a team to share knowledge and complete tasks on time
- Professional, organized, detailed oriented and communicative
- Aptitude for prioritizing tasks with an attention to detail to ensure information accuracy
- Proficient/have familiarity with Google and Office Suites, Microsoft
- Knowledgeable/familiarity with conducting surveys, analysing survey results, and determining areas of improvement
- Comfortable leading or facilitating meetings and conducting information gathering sessions
- Able to gather, analyse, document and validate the needs of project stakeholders
- Knowledge/familiarity with Excel, Confluence is an asset
- Knowledge of business analysis methodology is an asset Knowledge of script languages (SQL) is an asset
