Business Analyst - Jr Product Manager - Airlines

Job Description

An excellent opportunity for a self-driven and passionate business analyst to work as Junior Product Manager in Passenger Services System (PSS) business division of IBS Software Services (IBS).

Purpose

With your business analyst background, you will be working as a Junior Product Manager for the PSS solution being built by IBS, which is a powerful new generation solution that targets any kind of carrier - from a pure LCC via Hybrid Airlines to Airlines with a full-service model approach. We are inviting passionate and young professionals to work with us in this exciting phase of developing a new generation PSS platform and be a part of successful growth story.

IBS searches for strong for Junior Product Managers who are willing to work and define the product in any of the following business areas:

- Airline reservations, customer profiling, customer self-servicing

- Airline fares, fees, taxes and pricing

- Inventory, allotments & revenue management

- Departure control system

- Irregular operations & passenger re-accommodation

- Reporting (including business intelligence and data warehouse)

Key Responsibilities

- Support Research and Development (R&D) activities in any of the above mentioned functional areas

- Create functional specifications for product enhancements planned in new product releases.

- Support training sessions with product development team, account management team, product support team, training team and testing team.

- Support documentation writers to create documentation for the product.

- Support sales and marketing team in preparing and holding product presentations for potential customers as well as support them in responding to RFIs/RFPs.

- Participate in activities related to conducting user group forums and other customer forums to develop customer relationships and influence market thinking.

- Closely work with the other product teams to meet the overall vision of the product.

Educational Qualifications

- University graduate in engineering

- Postgraduate degree in management
