Sobus is set-up to support social initiatives to become scalable sustainable social enterprises. This will be achieved by providing generic as well as specific incubation services and global network access, best technology and network through global partnerships.

- Reach out to potential companies/ entrepreneurs and help them prepare for a pitch to SOBUS for investment & incubation

- Analyse different business plans being submitted for social impact and financial viability

- Liaison between different entities to ensure stake holder alignment & coordination for various activities

- Organize events, road shows & other activities for business development & networking

- Interface on a daily basis between the portfolio companies and SOBUS

- Study and prepare brief on the market research submitted by start-up applicants

- Develop and help implement strategies for specific portfolio companies to maximise impact, increase revenue, improve operations, strengthen financial controls, increase shareholder value and raise future rounds of funding

- Extensive financial modelling including sensitivity analysis to support potential investment opportunities

- Provide financial evaluation of project investment opportunities including review of project documents

- Participate in negotiations for new investments dealing with partnership arrangements, financing arrangements, and other project contacts

- Provide ongoing monitoring of portfolio companies including review of monthly operating results and maintaining project performance

- Strong academic credentials - MBA from a reputed institute preferred

- Highly analytical

- Financial modelling skills and experience in excel & power point

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Clear, concise writing skills

- Previous work experience of 1 to 4 years in business research, investment management, investment banking, auditing, or consulting experience preferred

The role will involve extensive travelling at short notice for extended periods of time.

Salary Offered : 6-7.5 LPA
