Business Analyst - IFRS - Risk Management - BFSI

Job Description

Understand the difference between a country specific accounting standard and IFRS accounting standard and its impact on a bank.

Work closely with software developers on preparing computation reports, dashboards, IFRS related rules setup, valuation and impairment models etc in the product.

Work closely with statistician on analytical tools such as Probability of Default, Loss Given Default, etc.

Work closely with accounting firm to understand the IFRS related computations and models required to be built in the product.

Engage with clients on the different requirements and aid the software team to incorporate the methodology in the product.

Carrying out testing of the software product.

Visit the onsite client and Assist the implementation team in carrying out User Acceptance Testing of the product under implementation.

Assist the product head for product development activities.

Qualification :

An accounting degree - M.Com., MBA in Finance, CA (preferably)

Skill-sets Requirement:

Understanding of different on-balance sheet, off-balance sheet and derivative asset-side products of the bank

Understanding of accounting practices of the bank

A quick learner

Good client management skills

Willingness to travel at client location-domestic as well as overseas (25% to 30% of the time)
