Business Analyst - Hospitality Sector
KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :
Business Analyst (Hospitality)- Review, benchmark, and analyze the financial performance of individual hotels at a portfolio level, deep dive, analyze variances, and highlight opportunities for improvement.
- Assessment of the monthly expenses of the hotels based on its performance and on the the cost structure of similar hotels and identification of cost-saving opportunities at each of the hotels and implementation of it to increase the profitability of the hotels.
- Prepare MIS presentations for monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews for internal review.
- Critical analysis to support business including monthly reviews at hotels and corporate offices, board meetings, etc.
- To review and evaluate hotel proposals for annual budgets (operating and capex) and provide recommendations basis past years' performance/future business and economic outlook and market dynamics.
- Regular updation and tracking performance of business forecasts.
- Coordinate with various internal (Finance) and external stakeholders (hotel teams) for data compilation and analysis
- Up to date on current business trends and financial news flow
- Analysis of working capital requirements of hotels and recommend disbursement of operational expenses
- Review the capital expenditure budget/proposals for all hotels and track actual spends against the same.
