The Project:

The HFM Upgrade and Repositioning project is a project within the Core Finance Systems Program. The Program has been setup to address pain points identified in the Group Finance process flow from the General Ledger through to the Core Consolidation module. The HFM project aims to deliver the definition of Core Consolidation and Line of Business (LoB) view in Credit Suisse within a target state using industry best practices as benchmark. Based on these definitions there will be a target roadmap for HFM tool repositioning in alignment with objectives of other subprojects within the CFS program.

The project also aims to address the pain-points of the current implementation mainly from a business point of view. An implementation plan will specify the transition from the current system to the target system. For 2017 the project consists mainly of analysis and definition work.

In the later phase of this project, HFM will be upgraded to the latest version and desired functionalities will be re-implemented to match the target state of the Core Consolidation requirements.

Experience Range - 7 to 10 years

- To work as a Business Analyst within the project

- Extensive interactions with Business and IT would be required to ensure business requirements are understood and design approaches are agreed with consensus.

- To exhibit strong HFM product knowledge during the design discussions with business and IT

- Extensive analytical work will also be required to support the business requirements and solutions

- Responsible for the gathering of business requirements, documentation of the business requirements including putting forward recommendations for solutions, where required

- Preparation of functional specifications and use cases for the delivery of the business requirements

- Preparation of test plans, test cases, co-ordinating with users and IT during the testing phase

- Execution of specific test cases

- Preparation of the documentation and steps for deployment, including user training where required

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

Basic Degree in Business / Finance / Accounting / IT

Desirable:

HFM certification

WORK EXPERIENCE/BACKGROUND:

- Experience in HFM implementation projects

- Experience in group reporting and disclosure and has a good understanding of consolidation processes in major financial institutions having worked extensively with Finance users in these areas

- Strong business analytical skills

- Full cycle project implementation experience

- Experience of working with onshore/offshore model

- Experience of working closely with IT and Support Teams

TECHNICAL/BUSINESS SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

Essential:

- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of a project lifecycle

- Good knowledge of MS Office suite

Desirable:

- Familiarity with Waterfall / AGILE / Scrum project methodology

Advanced Excel user

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

- Ability to maintain strong relationships
