Business Analyst - FP&A - Financial Services
FP&A is responsible for:
- Prepare annual operating plans covering financial & non-Financial objectives that form basis of assessment of the Company by Board as well as of every business
- Monitor progress and performance against set objectives, highlight deviations and course corrections needed due to internal or external factors
- Assist the office of CEO and CEO in decision support across range of strategic, financial and tactical proposals/ projects
- Prepare decision making frameworks, setting mechanisms and setting up projects with an objective of improving operating performance including better allocation of resources, eliminating efficiencies, productivity
- Setting appropriate data/MIS and review structures across levels
- Co-ordinate Central projects on behalf of CEO/CFO
- Reporting and Review decks for Board and CEO on strategy and operating performance
You be responsible for:
As a business analyst you will be the go to person for data analysis needed to gain insights into various facets of performance. You will be responsible for the following
- Setting up appropriate data and information structures to develop/present holistic view of business numbers
- Analyse the monthly, quarterly and longer term trends to gain insights and suggest areas of performance improvement (Deviation analysis, cause and effect, impact assessment,key movements and trends in P&L lines for various businesses)
- Responsible for business planning, modelling and forecasting for the company
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Assist in evaluating proposals from Business by relying on data /analysis
- Work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Assist the Investor Relations team in managing the earnings guidance scenario modeling Q&A support, and ad hoc analysis.
- Be an integral part of the business reviews with Business Heads and CEO
- Identifying areas of productivity and efficiency improvement, suggesting metrics
- Continuously scan market environment, carry out Competition Benchmarking-Financial as well as non-financial data
