Business Analyst - Equity

This opening is primarily related to our investment funds- activity to invest equity in businesses that contribute to value creation with social impact, typically for lower income populations in sectors such as energy, agriculture, ICT, health or education.

Your main tasks :

- Providing transaction support on equity transactions, including support on desk diligence, financial analysis and transaction closure

- Identifying prospects, creating deal pipeline and establishing initial contact for equity deals

- Developing financial models relating to financings and exits.

- Assisting in the write up of deal summaries and deal memos.

- Monitoring of portfolio investments as well as of the markets in which they are operating; analyzing operating forecasts and budgets.

- Conducting market and competitive research for target sectors and prospective companies.

Your experience and skills :

- Degree in economics, business administration, finance from a top tier institution

- Minimum two years of experience in private equity / investment banking / consulting

- Preference for some direct investment experience in PE / VC

- Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills

- Strong financial modeling and accounting skills; proficiency with spreadsheets

- High degree of initiative, reliability and willingness to learn

- Interest in and enthusiasm for social investments
