Business Analyst - eCommerce - IIM/ISB/XLRI/MDI/SPJIMR

Our client, based out of Bangalore, is looking for smart, team oriented, person who has strong experience in analytics and also prior experience in payments space.

Looking for candidates only from top MBA colleges (IIM A/B/C/L/I/K, ISB, XLRI, MDI, SPJIMR).

Role Details :

- Provide historical and real-time performance reports to respective BU on performance with high-level data while also providing detailed and in-depth analysis on results.

- Works with payments business teams to prepare, analysis, compile reports and present data to key stakeholder.

- Develop & maintain standard data templates for business and partners and applies learning's and inputs to improve overall payments business.

- Maintain & report schedule adherence with banks and payment gateways

- Review historical metrics and benchmark new targets and goals for the platforms while keeping business goals and targets at the forefront.

- Clearly identify areas that are impacting quality and payments performance and present to business teams with results.

- Responsible for managing key relationships with banks and give actionable insights from data analysis.

- Compile statistical data and write narrative reports summarizing trend analysis/quality assurance findings and recommendations.

- Analyzing performance data identifying bottlenecks and recommending resolutions.

- Daily Interaction with product teams and PG managers on analysis looking at actual vs. forecast.

- Ongoing development of ad-hoc reporting for the payments business based on projects.

- Detailed reporting on specific reason codes that are impacting payments metrics.

- Looks for ways of automating reports that brings efficiency into the system.

Required Skills :

- Strong command of Excel and other MS Office programs.

- Previous experience in payments space (Retail Banking, Online payments, payment gateways, M-Comm etc.) is desirable. Working knowledge of SQL and other SAS skills

- Previous experience of reporting & working with data analytics at decision-making levels is required.

- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-pasted dynamic environment. Consistently maintains calm demeanor - able to maintain control with confidence and ease, while remaining flexible amongst the changes in a fast growing business.

- Clear thinking and logical with an ability to deal with ambiguity.

- Must display fine attention to detail - successfully completes tasks requiring deep attention to a high volume of detailed information with the ability to build quality process into job functions.

- Efficiently manages time based on continual evaluation of priorities, meets deadlines with high quality deliverable reflecting complete understanding of expectations, able to multi-task.

- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.

- Takes pride in own work and understands the importance of teamwork.

- Prior experience in handling large amount of complex data and dealing with multiple metric reporting (MIS) is preferred.

- Good communication skills - ability to articulate data is important.
