Position: Manager - Corporate Functions

Location: Pune, Maharashtra

Type of employment: Full-time

Years of Experience: 3-5 years

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Market Research and Business Analysis

- Be the single point of contact for providing market research information (Company profiles, market key trends, growth opportunities, key investments, and industry news) for the areas identified by senior management.

- Conduct secondary and primary (if required) research for the business-related areas identified by the Corporate Functions Head.

- Ensure timely delivery of requisite output from external consultants for key market research or consulting agreements assigned to them.

- Assist in sourcing and reviewing business case scenarios for new opportunities that fall in the above criteria.

- Assist Corporate Functions Head in conducting and taking lead in industry research, market mapping, preparing mandate pitches, etc.

- Review and suggest for changes and improvements contracts, NDA's, MoU's, agreements, related to business operations, vendors, consultants, employees, business partners etc.

- Develop standard templates such as employment agreements, consultant agreements, NDA's etc. as required by the stakeholders.

2. Performance Monitoring and improvement of Corporate Functions

- Support Corporate Functions Head and team in driving performance across various sub-functions (HR/IT/Corporate Communication/Admin)

- Design and roll out key performance indicators for all Corporate Functions sub-functions after due approvals from Corporate Functions Head.

- Drive key business review processes such as weekly and monthly review meetings for Corporate Functions.

- Provide minutes of meeting (MoM) for all reviews conducted by the Corporate Functions Head.

- Take responsibility for ensuring delivery of budgets for all Corporate Functions by working closely with the management teams of sub-functions.

- Assess key performance indicators on a periodic basis and present key shortcomings of each sub-function along with solution to Corporate Functions Head.

- Support sub-functions by ensuring all necessary approvals and meetings required from the Corporate Functions Head are done on a timely manner.

- Preparing Analysis of various business projects

- Preparing PowerPoint presentation & basic excel modeling

- co-ordination/ meetings scheduling across geographies for Corp functions head

- point contact for any work co-ordination between functions in India basis inputs provided

Requirements

- Very strong analytical skills with the ability to create impactful power point presentations, reports from scratch in relatively short times and maintaining a high quality.

- Solid skills on business analysis and strategy formulation side - must be able to create and defend views in high level meetings.

- Should be conversant with legal documents and terminology used in normal business activities (NDAs, contracts, various kinds of agreements (either of operational/transactional nature) etc.

- Must have had experience of working closely with senior leaders/management in previous organizations - should be able to handle situations wisely and carefully.

- Graduate from premier MBA institutions in India/abroad.

- High preference to candidates who can join within 1 month.
