Business Analyst - Construction Management Software Development

Job Description:

We are looking for a Business Analyst with expertise in the -construction domain- to lead the development of a comprehensive construction management solution similar to PMWeb. The ideal candidate will define business requirements, collaborate with development teams, and ensure the solution meets industry standards and client needs

Analyze and document business requirements to develop a PMWeb like construction management platform.

- Collaborate with development teams to design and build a robust, scalable solution.

- Research and define core functionalities based on industry best practices and existing solutions like PMWeb.

- Ensure the system supports key construction management features, including:

- Project Management- (Scheduling, Workflows, Task Tracking)

- Cost Management- (Budgeting, Forecasting, Cost Control)

-Contract Management- (Change Orders, Vendor Agreements, Compliance)

- Document Management- (Drawings, RFIs, Submittals, Version Control)

- Asset & Resource Management- (Equipment, Workforce Allocation, Procurement)

- Risk & Quality Management- (Safety, Audits, Inspections)

- Reporting & Dashboards (Real-time Analytics, KPI Monitoring)

- Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the solution aligns with -construction industry standards- and client needs.

- Support -pre-sales activities-, including product presentations and demonstrations.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Business analysis experience in software development, preferably in construction or project management solutions.

- Strong knowledge of construction industry workflows- and management processes.

- Experience with PMWeb or similar construction management platform-.

- Ability to translate business needs into -functional specifications and user stories.

- Experience in -pre-sales, client engagement, and stakeholder communication.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
