Bus Analyst, Common Reporting (COREP), Basel 3 / CRD IV  We are hiring for top IT company, project based.  Job title : Capital Mandatory Change Business Analyst  Department overview :  The Risk Finance Change team consists of full time project managers and business analysts with responsibility for projects spanning Credit Risk, Market Risk, Product Control, Valuations, Treasury and Financial and Regulatory Reporting. The team works closely with its stakeholders and sponsors in the line and maintains a close working relationship with Technology partners, both internal and external.  Role description :  - Business Analyst for Capital and CoRep reporting to manage analysis and implementation of business mandatory changes  - Act as business gate keeper, controlling issues being raised to IT and working with the business to ensure issues are raised appropriately and are fully understood/agreed globally before IT work starts  - Individual will see changes from inception to delivery, from defining business requirements with the business to agreeing the solution with IT before presenting back to the business.   - This person should be confident in Capital and CoRep reporting and be comfortable to pick up issues quickly, in some cases, last minute, to make change happen  - Structured thinker who can breakdown complex problems into bite size chunks and can effectively communicate issues out to business and IT  - UAT experience including defining UAT approach, test plan and test co-ordination  - Good team player who can work closely with the business, BAs, QA and development team throughout project lifecycle  - Ability to organise and prioritise work within deadlines set and escalate as required  - Demonstrates strong stakeholder management and communication skills and someone that understands importance of creating good relationships  - Good leadership skills  Key objectives critical to success :  - Analysis and documentation of new requirements for data sourcing, calculation of key metrics, and functionality. Documentation of detailed business requirements and/or functional specifications  - Testing  - Create and review user test plans  - Co-ordination and execution of user testing  - Review QA and Regression Test Scripts  - Identification, analysis, and selection of data sources to meet strategic reporting requirements  - Assessment and tracking of risks and issues, logging and follow-up of actions, and tracking progress against a plan  - Work closely with Finance Technology, ensuring detailed understanding and delivery of requirements, as well as prioritisation of any issues encountered  - Attend frequent meetings with Technology, SMEs and stakeholders, as well as act as a key liaison with local Technology resource  - A good working knowledge of capital management and reporting is highly desirable, in order to hit the ground running  - Knowledge of or experience working on Capital and CoRep under Basel 3 / CRDIV would be beneficial, but not essential  - Essential to have experience working in an Investment Bank, with knowledge of the standard products - secured financing and derivatives essential  - Competent in Word & Excel  Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required :   - Proven track record in business analysis, including gathering and documenting business requirements, functional specifications and test scenarios  - Ability to translate and document business concepts and requirements  - Must have had experience working according to a project plan and delivering technology solutions  - A sound understanding of the project life cycle - experience working on projects utilizing Agile methodology would be advantageous  - Strong stakeholder management in order to drive the project forward and ensure milestones are met  - Confident self-starter who can work under pressure, using their own initiative and with the drive to see tasks through to completion  - Ability to work to aggressive deadlines   - Excellent communicator and influencer, able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels from a range of departments, business areas and cultures  - Initiative and ability to think laterally  - Very strong attention to detail  - Experience working with colleagues across multiple regions
