A Leading foreign bank is looking to hire Business Analyst for their offshore development center with 2-6 years of experience.
Job Description:
The role of a business analyst is to support the ODC Performance Management & Analytics function as well as Group Corporate Services functions in designing and managing a consistent performance management framework across all ODCs. A key element of this role is to identify optimal solutions to deliver meaningful data and value-add in terms of the analysis of that data.
Job Description
The role remit is wide and flexible depending on the successful candidate's interests and aptitudes. Core responsibilities include:
ODC Dashboards, analytics and standardization:
- design, coordination and delivery of all ODC performance metrics and reporting
- this will include capacity management and cost optimization initiatives within ODCs as part of key projects.
- communication of metrics, findings and analytics to agreed audience
ODC Performance improvement:
- work with IT and functions to standardize all infrastructure, tools and methodologies across ODCs in order to optimize performance.
- this will involve identifying and executing infrastructure improvements (e.g. latency) and systems & applications improvements as well, including 3rd party tools / platforms.
ODC Process management:
- post implementation and RtB monitoring & reporting of ODC performance standards
- application profiles monitoring vis-a-vis OBIs and approved processes
- functional Pex / throughput coordination for tracking targets versus plan
- change management tracking and effectiveness
- maintaining regulatory (in-country and overall) checklists applicable to ODCs & ROs and interface / reporting to the COO Risk area on these topics.
- acting as the main point of contact for any ODC metric with exposure to various stakeholders in providing regular updates at the respective functional management committees as required.
- having a full understanding of group wide Outsourcing & Offshoring policies and support functions in adhering to those policies. This will include delivering education on how to comply with these policies.
- Awareness of the OBI process and requirements as they relate to offshore application usage.
- ad-hoc support for functional management team: preparation of materials, team community building exercises, small-scale project execution
- working closely with other business analysts across the immediate team as well as the wider GCS function.
- supporting Vendor Relationship managers, ODC site managers, GCS management teams and functional teams as necessary as part of the remit.
- support and furtherance of Group Corporate Services objectives and vision statement.
