Business Analyst - Accounting System - Housing Finance

About Our Client :

Our client is one of the well-established Housing Finance Company backed by a reputed conglomerate. The HFC has mortgage product offerings across loans, Mortgages, Loans Against Property, Loans Against Shares, Micro-finance and Agri-loans. They are looking for a Technical Valuation with strong team handling experience for their operations based in NCR.

Job Description :

- Managing the accounting system of the organisation and participating in preparation of group financials as per Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS)

- Acting as a single point of contact for the finance function of the organisation for all accounting system related issues, enhancements and modifications

- Understanding, documenting and designing the requested modifications/enhancements in the accounting system along with the technical team

- Conducting reviews and monitoring the performance of the technology partner managing the accounting system for the organisation

- Conducting testing of the requested enhancement along with the finance team and ensure that the testing results meet the expectations of the finance function.

- Recommend controls by identifying problems in the accounting system/Loan Management system

- Facilitate filling of GST, Income tax and TDS returns at the specified intervals

- Reconciliation of ledger balances in the Accounting system with Loan Management system

- Facilitate preparation of bank reconciliation statement

- Participating and representing in senior management reviews on the overall health of the accounting system

The Successful Applicant

- CA/ MBA/Btech with at least 2-3 years of experience in the finance function. Experience in finance function of a housing finance company (HFC) or Non-Banking Finance company (NBFC) shall be preferred.

- Should have hands on experience in finalisation of books of accounts for a reputed organisation

- Experience in filling of statutory returns under the GST act, Income Tax Act and TDS related matters.

- Good understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS)

- Understanding of housing finance ecosystem shall be preferred
