Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in Chartered Accountancy (CA) and expertise in Merger & Acquisition, asset valuation, stock valuation, and equity valuation. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in venture capital, transaction advisory companies, or financial companies. This role requires a strategic thinker who can provide insightful analysis and support to growth and investment strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Merger & Acquisition (M&A):
- Conduct thorough financial analysis and due diligence for potential M&A opportunities.
- Evaluate the strategic fit and financial impact of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
- Prepare comprehensive M&A reports, including valuation models and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to facilitate smooth transaction processes.
2) Asset Valuation:
- Perform detailed asset valuations for mining properties, including reserves, machinery, and infrastructure.
- Utilize various valuation methods (e.g., DCF, comparative market analysis) to determine asset worth.
- Monitor and update asset valuation models based on market conditions and operational changes.
3) Valuation of Stock:
- Evaluate the equity value of the company for various financial transactions and reporting purposes.
- Develop and maintain equity valuation models, incorporating industry trends and financial metrics.
- Assist in preparing equity reports for investors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
4) Valuation of Equity:
- Evaluate the equity value of the company for various financial transactions and reporting purposes.

5) Strategic Financial Analysis:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.
- Prepare financial forecasts, budgeting, and scenario analysis to support business planning.
- Identify and analyze key financial metrics to drive business performance and growth.
6) Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with senior management, finance, and operations teams to align financial strategies with business objectives.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Support cross-functional projects and initiatives, providing financial insights and expertise.
Desired Candidature:
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role within venture capital, transaction advisory, or financial companies.
- Proven track record in M&A, asset valuation, stock valuation, and equity valuation.
- Experience in the metal mining industry is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of financial principles, investment analysis, and market trends.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, Bloomberg, financial databases).
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
