Business Acquisition Support
This will lead the client discussions on HR issues and provide input and strategic advice as counsel for the overall proposal. The person in this role actively participates in client negotiations for all of the HR terms and conditions. Be responsible to deliver in 3 key areas of Cost/Commercials, HR solution & Legal framework of respective location, that result in a positive outcome for the client and the company.
Client Acquisitions/Large Outsourcing:
- Work with Sales/Pre-sales teams to enable HR work for 'Request For Proposals' (RFP)
- Support business on bid response through people strategy development, people transition plans, cost analysis, HR terms etc. arising from acquisitions, carve outs and other large outsourcing deals
- Propose labor arbitrage measures in accordance within the framework of local laws to meet business needs
- Create & present HR solution with multiple options to internal stakeholders including geo sales leads
- Collaborate with Solutioning & Finance teams to ascertain employment related cost and propose measures to mitigate commercial escalations
- Work with legal & other internal teams to finalize HR terms & conditions linked to people transfer
- Establish the HR transition plan and identify an HR lead to execute a smooth transition.
- Lead client meetings/workshops to present HR solutions, mutual value discussions and negotiations
- Participate in due diligence workshops and analyze findings to propose a suitable approach which has minimal cost impact
- Collaborate with client to define a clear and well-crafted communications plan to ensure a smooth and effective announcement to all
Company Acquisitions:
- HR due diligence
- Deliver risk analysis and other M&A documentation including HR due diligence reports
- Financial analysis of deals from a people/organizational cost and synergy perspective
- Interface with senior internal and external stakeholders both at Target and within the company on HR M&A related matters.
Framework:
- Actively work on creating standard solutions, development of tools, methodologies and templates
- Conduct workshops with internal stakeholders to create awareness about wins, local laws, standard HR negotiation areas among others
- Maintain a repository of legal opinions sought and past deal references on internal portal
- Consistent reporting of progress to management team through reports and dashboards.
