Position: Sr. Manager Taxation & Account Receivables
Job Summary:
The Manager of Taxation and Accounts Receivables will be responsible for managing the company's tax compliance, tax planning, and reporting, as well as overseeing the accounts receivables functions. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all tax regulations, improve processes, and contribute to the overall financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxation:
- Oversee the preparation and filing of federal, state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Conduct tax research and planning to minimize tax liabilities.
- Manage audits and inquiries from tax authorities.
- Develop and implement tax strategies and policies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and changes.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and auditors.
Accounts Receivables:
- Oversee the accounts receivables process, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation.
- Develop and implement effective AR policies and procedures.
- Monitor AR aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely posting of receipts and adjustments.
- Prepare AR reports and provide insights to management.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
General Management:
- Lead and mentor the taxation and AR teams.
- Develop and monitor departmental budgets.
- Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business objectives.
Candidate Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CA inter should be preferred.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in taxation and accounts receivables.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
