About Us:

The start up is a new and exciting tech initiative to solve the biggest three problems in the financial services space based on data analytics, real time feeds and market research. This platform will mitigate these three issues which is being ignored on global scale but especially so in India.

The product is in requirement gathering phase and we are looking for technology head to manage & lead the product development & take ownership of this unique e-platform in the financial services space.

The founders come with 25 plus years of industry experience in reputed organizations such as Merrill Lynch, Edelweiss & Raymond James.

Growth plan :

- Starting with Delhi/NCR and then to cater to 5 major cities in first 6 months and subsequently expanding the services in other parts of the company followed by international expansion.

Initial team composition (T0 + Pilot Phase) :

1 COO (Co founder), 1 CTO (Co founder)

3 member - business development team

3 member - tech development team

2 member - Advisory and consultancy team

About the role :

We are looking for a CTO for a new start up to be based out of GURGAON. The start up is a perfect amalgamation of an offline and online venture that is unique, one of a kind. We are looking for a CTO Co-Founder in building up the business model to make it a pan India brand, build traction (digitally and otherwise) and enhance valuation.

He should have a sound knowledge of Web Programming/ Development and who can execute the company's business mission through development & deployment of Web applications in line with the Business requirements.

The suitable candidate will be the core member of Founding Team and lead all the Technical aspects of the venture. This profile includes a lot of challenges and responsibilities.

- He will also act as a key identifier and initiator of initiatives based on customer insight and new opportunities across segments and geographies.

Technical Skills Required :

- Building and managing website technical structure, design & aesthetics, navigation, information architecture, performance

- Hands on Experience on C#, ASP.Net and SQL Server

- Solid command on Front end technology: HTML, JQuery/Jacascript, AJAX, CSS

- Back end technology: SQL server 2005, MS-Access

- Experience in Magento/Drupal/Opencart

- Good understanding of Windows 2008 Server OS, Database

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field (or has equivalent work experience) + Prior Startup Exp is a Plus + Prior Development of E-Comm Marketplaces is good.

- Strong pedigree, Masters from a Premier schools (IIMs/SPJain/FMS/XLRI etc.) preferred but not mandatory as long as the person has thorough domain knowledge & gets the work done.

- A hardcore techie with a sense of aesthetics, web architecture, to MAKE IT CLICK (PS: & make Apps with eyes closed)

- The CODING master

- A GURU in making the model effective, updated and pre rempt getting redundant & proactively stay relevant

- A person who has also exposure to designing products & has worked on multiple platforms.

Requirements :

- Entrepreneur by Heart (Must)

- Has the ability to think through, plan & implement the Go-To-Market strategy

- Experience of 2-5 years in financial services industry (Preferred).

- Proven track record of delivering exponential growth in user base and engagement for consumer focused online product /service would be a plus. Will be great if he has experience in driving traffic to e-platforms/websites

- Experience in leveraging multiple channels across digital, offline, events, content marketing and partnerships at scale to deliver high growth.

- Track record in delivering results with innovative approaches in marketing and customer engagement preferred

- Proven ability to drive data / research based decisions preferred

- Experience in building multiple products and taking them to the markets preferred

- Should be able to understand and manage a large footprint of the product portfolio

- Experience of building products that have set industry standards preferred

- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to listen intently and attention to detail

- Ability to work in an ever-changing dynamic work culture with minimum supervision

- Ability to adapt to changing dynamics of the organization.

- Willingness to work in a start-up environment

Location : Gurgaon

Compensation :

- Only equity. Cash compensation will start from 3rd month of operations / reaching at par within a year.

- Foregone salary may also be converted into equity when VC investment comes in

- Head the Technology team, as we grow

- Flexibility in work

- You can even work from home / work part time ( Provided you can stick to the deadline)

We are currently boot-strapped and would go live soon over a period of 3-4 Months and approach for Funding.
