Burgeon IT Services - SAP ABAP Role

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and implement high-quality SAP ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms (RICEFW).

- Develop and expose OData services for SAP applications to support SAP Fiori/UI5 and external systems integration.

- Collaborate with functional teams and business analysts to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

- Optimize existing code and perform technical enhancements to ensure efficient system performance.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP applications and integrations.

- Adhere to best practices for code quality, maintainability, and performance optimization.

- Participate in peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

- Document technical specifications, development changes, and provide user support as needed.

- Work in an agile development environment and contribute to project planning and status meetings.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.

- Strong expertise in developing OData services using SAP Gateway.

- Proficient in ABAP Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

- Experience with RICEFW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms).

- Solid understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, FI/CO, or others.

- Knowledge of SAP Fiori/UI5 application development and integration.

- Familiarity with SAP debugging, performance tuning, and optimization.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex projects.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

- SAP certification is a plus.
