Job Title: Senior Management - Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Role Overview:


- As the Senior Management - Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Builditindia, you will play a pivotal role in leading the operational excellence and strategic growth initiatives of the company.


- Leveraging your prestigious background from IIT/IIM, you will be entrusted with driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across all operational facets of the organization.


- Reporting directly to the CEO, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:


1. Strategic Leadership:


- Develop and execute the company's operational strategy in alignment with organizational goals and market trends.


2. Operational Excellence:


- Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.


3. Cross-functional Collaboration:


- Work closely with departments such as Product Development, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure seamless coordination and execution of strategic initiatives.


4. Process Optimization:


- Identify areas for process improvement and implement measures to optimize workflows and enhance overall operational performance.


5. Risk Management:


- Proactively assess and mitigate operational risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.6.


Talent Development:


- Foster a culture of excellence and accountability, attracting top talent and nurturing the professional growth of team members.


7. Vendor Management:


- Oversee relationships with key vendors and suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency in the procurement process.


8. Technology Integration:


- Drive the integration of technology solutions to streamline operations, enhance user experience, and drive business growth.


9. Performance Monitoring:


- Establish KPIs and metrics to track operational performance, analyze data insights, and drive informed decision-making.


10. Change Management:


- Lead organizational change initiatives, promoting a culture of adaptability and continuous improvement.


Qualifications:


1. Bachelor's degree from a reputed institution, preferably IIT.


2. MBA or equivalent post-graduate degree from a premier institution like IIM.


3. Proven track record of successful leadership in senior management roles, preferably in a technology driven environment.


4. Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and technology integration.


5. Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.


6. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.


7. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.


8. Demonstrated ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.


9. Strong business acumen and financial literacy.


10. Knowledge of the building materials industry or related sectors is advantageous.
