About our Client - Our client is an international & internationally significant FMCG business who are now driving the whole industry agenda within the pan-India market. Globally they have renowned ""super-brands"" and a consistent corporate culture of best practice & the highest ethical standards. Due to aggressive growth within their 3 to 10 Year plans, a newly created role has become available for a Budgeting Business Process Director. In line with Financial & Operational excellence, the organization also demands the best in Analytical & Commercial support - to drive footprint through sustainable & astute planning.

Job Description - This is an exceptionally commercial and business orientated role. The primary purpose is looking at ""what has happened"" with ""how, why and where from here- "" The primary differences between this & a typical budget variance analysis-style role is that this position will make strategic decisions on improvements and then take responsibility for seeing these through to implementation. Further, the high profile nature of the role requires considerable senior global brand stakeholder management. Other parts of the role will deal with the same people on Internal Group Reporting, Budget Cycles & 3 to 10 Year Plans in addition to other Key Business Processes. Very importantly, this position will complement through best practice the Corporate Culture and in so doing, will work towards making the Brands ever more premium. This is also a high development Management role where your leadership will reflect in the specialized & categorised team you inspire, lead, train & mentor.

The Successful Candidate - The successful candidate needs to be ""top-of-market"" in their academic rigour and commercial achievements (over the last c.12 years) to date. Perhaps most poignant, our client stresses that while this person must have a host of professional technical qualifications, they must possess a business mindset with associated flexibility to get to the deliverables. What they consider to be ""resolve & experience"". The position requires people with a long term view and maturity because of the critical nature of the work and the global stakeholders you will be dealing with. However, in line with the international ethos of the business, you may also be considered as a high-potential candidate. Your experience - from either top-tier international or domestic FMCG firms to date will show clear examples of the duties described above.
