Territory Development Manager

Responsibilities :

- Be the Face of the company to Front End and Manage the relationship of the company with all its partners and clients in the Territory.

- Ensure that the targets for the Key Performing Indices (KPIs) defined by the organization for the territory are achieved

- Plan and execute visibility, promotion and channels strategy for the Organization in the region.

- Ensure proper distribution of the product in the market by ensuring availability and visibility at customers across all Channels

- Have regular meetings with the Partners, Retail groups and Retailers to communicate and ensure the Outlet wise business targets are achieved

- Ensure visits to the customers by the salespeople are happening as per the beat plan and personally spend time in the market as required to ensure the right customer service

- Provide the Stock forecasts for the region as per the Growth targets set to the product team and work with them to ensure the right logistics are in place to ensure serviceability

- Deeply understand the key customer needs and requirements and ensure that the information is acted upon as per the insights obtained.

- Measure the effectiveness of all the consumer promotions (BTL spends) for the region

- Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives.

- Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams.

- Identify and analyze relevant information on Industry, market and consumers to understand the opportunity for the brands in the region. Set priorities and focus for the brand to maximize returns on spends and create a competitive advantage for the brand.

- Understand, gather insights and execute the initiatives on category, brand strategy, marketing concepts, consumer behavior, brand promotions, communication, development etc. within the territory.

- Continuously monitor, assess, anticipate and meet the requirements of the field sales to reinforce the brand in the market. Follow up on initiatives in the field, develop and provide support plans and other inputs.

- Track the marketing spends for the region. Ensure financial discipline internally and to external suppliers to have control over the budget.

- Recruit, guide and supervise local vendors for supply of merchandising material, promotion toolkits, manpower and other services for all kinds of trade marketing initiatives.

Qualification/Skills:

- Post-Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA reputable Institute with 2-4 years of experience in Sales.

- Preferably 2-4 years' experience working in Alco-Beverage industry.

- Independent and self-motivated, yet also team-oriented.

- Ability to build a strong rapport and trust with clients.

- Meeting tight timelines.

- Understanding of vertical operations & universe of clients and Proficiency at MS Tools.

- Attention to Detail, Analytical, Data Interpretation.

- Effective Communication and negotiation skills
