- An online cross-browser cross-platform testing product launched in August 2011, which provides a cloud platform where developers, testers and designers can test their web applications. We serve more than 1,000,000 registered users worldwide (30,000+ paying customers) including Twitter,Ai rbnb,Wikipedia, Microsoft, Ubuntu, jQuery, Citrix, Adobe, Ebay, Stanford University, Lego and more.

- We're self-funded and profitable, with a team size of 80+ which we plan to scale to 125 in the next 6-12 months. Independent, self-thinkers to join an immensely talented team.

- You may categories us as a developer platform, with deep technology problems from varying from setting up real device farm, providing - 100ms latency live streaming solution, ability to test local servers on the cloud through the browser itself.

- As of now we have around 32 K+ paying accounts, which is only 5-6% of the global market.

- We see there is huge opportunity in growing these two products. Not to mention, there are always product challenges like funnel optimizations to boost growth further.

About Role :

- As an Engineering Manager you will manage tech roadmap of one of our products/multiple key modules and end to end product development efforts, contribute to software product development strategy.

- You will be a hands-on manager and will contribute in design, development, architecture and solving complex engineering problems.

- You will play a key role that will actively contribute towards running the engineer show @ BrowserStack.

- We are looking for someone to manage the engineering initiatives, which will primarily include bring fresh perspective to our engineering processes, build robust systems, ensuring delivery of product roadmap, enhancing engineering culture, nurturing and helping engineers with these tough problems.

Few of your key responsibilities :

- Develop & deliver complex systems. You will be handling innovation and responsible to identify areas of continues improvement/betterment of product development lifecycle. Operate with scale and speed amidst flux, there is just a LOT happening @ BrowserStack.

- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time Architect and design technically robust, flexible and scalable solutions

- Develop roadmaps for system and product growth, and then ensure timely execution and quality delivery

- Focus on details of software development, design, implementation and debugging.

- Have high technical competence, strong technical background with track record of individual technical accomplishments - Ability to play the role of the architect for the team

- Work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment

- Mentor your team! Our world-class software engineers are just getting started -- and as a manager, you guide the way and set-up examples by coming-up with best design and solutions to complex engineering problems.

- Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow with regular and deep mentoring. Perform regular performance evaluation and share and seek feedback

- You not only have the technical chops to roll up sleeves and provide technical leadership to major projects, but also build and manage Lead/Engineering managers along with their team of around 10 top notch engineers.

Require Key Skills :

- Strong grasp of scalable web back-end, streaming, full stack development, good experience in handling production and performance issues and all genres of platforms technologies.

- Deep understanding of technologies and architecture in a highly scalable and available set-up.

- Deep understanding & expertise with highly transactional, large relational and complex web/desktop based systems.

- Experience hiring and growing a top notch engineering team, and scaling the organization. Start-up experience will be highly preferred.

- Solid understanding of business processes and the application of technology to implement and thereafter streamline them

- Strong leadership and communication skills.

- Hands-on experience in Developing, designing & scaling complex systems both horizontally & vertically.

Experience :

- 7-10 Year of relevant experience with at-least 1+ year of experience in managing a team of talented development professionals. You should be hands-on, must have experience in people, performance & delivery management.

- A strong vision and excitement for contributing in growth of an amazing product start-up.
