Job Profile:
- Responsible for managing the business strategy for effective and profitable brokerage operations which can consist of a Trade Management Center (TMC) or an area of equivalent scope
- Manages and Executes Site Level Brokerage Operations
- Maintains oversight of brokerage assigned site(s) to ensure that corporate and regulatory requirements are met.
- Coordinates communications in assigned geographic area to ensure each site is fully informed of brokerage network priorities and managing to those priorities to achieve a high level of consistency amongst all assigned operations.
- Candidate must be rule 8 certified through any of customs locations of India
- Brokerage License
- Visits existing customers as identified by the sales and/or operations teams to retain and enhance customer relationships.
- Actively participates in customer partnership reviews to ensure sustained customer satisfaction.
- Collaborates with Strategic Account Managers and Brokerage Product Specialists to create, develop and present creative customer solutions that drive profitable organic growth with existing customers as well as securing new customers.
- Collaborates with operations and sales groups (e.g., small package, air, ocean, etc.) to recognize additional revenue opportunities
- Ensures the Brokerage leadership team in assigned geographical territory has proper training and guidance to build a customer focused, growth oriented team at all levels within each assigned operation.
- Oversees all audit scores (self, compliance, RCA, etc.) to ensure they stay within established guidelines.
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory requirements of other government agencies (e.g., Food and Drug Administration, Fish & Wildlife, etc.) to ensure those requirements are met.
- Visits existing customers as identified by the sales and/or operations teams to retain and enhance customer relationships.
