Summary/Objective The employee benefits coordinator position assists employees with benefits enrollment and questions, manages all insurance billing, maintains employee database and files, and assists with payroll processing. Essential Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, Car lease, National pension scheme, Meal vouchers etc. 2. Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system. 3. Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction. 4. Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims. 5. Verify the calculation of the monthly premium statements for all group insurance policies and maintain statistical data relative to premiums, claims and costs. Resolve administrative problems with the carrier representatives. 6. Assist HR manager in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process of any health, life and retirement plans that benefit the company. 7. Prepare and set up meetings designed to help employees obtain information and understand company benefits and other related incentive programs. Ensure distribution of required employee notices. 8. Prepare and maintain reports. 9. Assist HR manager in completing benefits reporting requirements. 10. Other duties as assigned. 11. Ensures the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information. 12. Assists with new-hire orientations. 13. Performs quality checks of benefits-related data. 14. Assists employees regarding benefits claim issues and plan changes. 15. Distributes all benefits enrollment materials and determines eligibility. 16. Enrolls employees with carriers and process life status changes. 17. Responds to benefits inquiries from managers and employees on plan provisions, benefits enrollments, status changes and other general inquiries. 18. Processes and administers all leave-of-absence requests 19. Assists with the open enrollment process. 20. Provides necessary reports for allocation/billing charges. Competencies 1. Communication. 2. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Travel Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
