Manager - Business Development/IT Sales
Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in educational institutions across your assigned territory.
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with existing and potential clients to understand their IT needs and demonstrate how Brilyant's solutions can enhance their learning environments.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to acquire new clients and consistently exceed sales targets within the education sector.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of Brilyant's service offerings, including ADP Plans and IEM (Integrated Equipment Management) solutions.
- Leverage strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and contract terms during sales cycles.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales strategies and impactful marketing materials.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all leads, customer accounts, and sales activities within our CRM system.
- Foster strong relationships with IT equipment manufacturers (Apple preferred) to ensure access to the latest technologies.
- Assist with diagnosing and troubleshooting Apple Mac system issues.
- Perform hardware replacements and system repairs as needed.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in IT sales with a proven track record of success in the education sector.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in any field or relevant industry certification (e., CompTIA A+).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Deep understanding of the education technology landscape and current trends.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Ability to travel within your assigned territory for face-to-face meetings.
- Prior experience working with Apple products a plus
