- We are seeking a well-qualified Legal professional with 6-7 years of post-qualification experience with a Corporate Legal Department or in-house counsel in a technology industry, preferably with a substantial prior experience in IT/ITeS industry.
- Candidate should be competent to draft and negotiate variety of commercial contracts, provide legal advice and expertise to the assigned business units, and understand the legal environment it operates in. Job Description / Key Responsibilities :
- Good knowledge of Contract, Commercial and Labour laws of India, UK, EU and preferably for North America.
- Provide expert advice on Customer & Vendor contracts, negotiate and draft a wide range of diverse complex contractual agreements based on varied business models with customers, vendors and partners (NDA's, Services agreements, Master Services Agreements, Software License Agreements, Cloud Hosting Agreements, Software Partner Agreements, Teaming Agreements, Reseller and Distribution Agreements, SAAS, PAAS contracts, EULAs, terms of use, Data Protection Agreements, etc.,) in alignment with relevant laws and internal Brillio Directives & Policies;
- Must be able to work independently with a sense of ownership
- Working closely with various Internal Functions & Business Units/Practices for all type of contractual requirements, legal advisory, evaluating and highlighting legal risks for various businesses
- Keep abreast of latest development/changes in legal fraternity
- Create legal playbooks for various internal processes for Legal department
- Manage Contract compliance processes
- Maintain Contract/Vendor database regularly. Having a hands-on experience of using a Contract Lifecycle Management tool would be an added advantage
- Understanding of financial and commercial terms in Contracts.
- Highly Proficient in MS Office Suite such as Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT etc.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Previous Experience with IT/ITeS/Digital Tech organizations is a must
