Job Summary:

The Leader of US Sales will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth and expand our market presence across the United States. This leadership role requires a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record in the EdTech industry, exceptional strategic thinking, and the ability to lead and inspire a high-performing sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement a robust sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets in the US market.

- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the US sales team, fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Market Expansion: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand our customer base and drive growth.

- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, including educational institutions, district administrators, and other relevant partners.

- Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to senior management, ensuring clear visibility into sales performance and pipeline health.

- Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic decision-making.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales efforts with overall company objectives and deliver a seamless customer experience.

- Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve sales goals.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.

- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the EdTech industry.

- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in achieving and exceeding sales targets and driving significant revenue growth.

- Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.

- Strategic Thinker: Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales strategies.

- Relationship Building: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and partners.

- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends to inform decision-making.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in CRM software and other sales tools, with a good understanding of the latest trends and technologies in the EdTech space.

- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges.
