A Project Manager with wealth management experience is responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects with a Banking client.

This role involves managing project teams, budgets, timelines, and resources to deliver solutions that meet the needs of wealth management clients and the business.

The Project Manager ensures projects align with strategic objectives and are delivered efficiently and effectively.

Role & responsibilities

Project Planning and Initiation:

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.

- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

- Define project roles and responsibilities for team members.

- Conduct project kickoff meetings to communicate project goals and expectation.

Project Execution and Monitoring

- Manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, compliance, and business stakeholders.

- Track project progress, milestones, and deliverables.

- Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring projects are within financial constraints.

- Identify and manage project risks and issues, developing mitigation and contingency plans.

- Facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication and decision-makin.

Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:

- Communicate project status, updates, and potential issues to stakeholders and senior management regularly.

- Prepare project reports, presentations, and other relevant documentation.

- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.

Wealth Management Expertise:

- Apply knowledge of wealth management products, services, and industry trends to project initiatives.

- Understand the needs and requirements of wealth management clients and advisors.

- Ensure project deliverables meet regulatory requirements and compliance standards within the wealth management industry.

- Contribute to the development and improvement of wealth management processes and systems.

Project Management Skills:

- Proven experience in managing projects from initiation to closure.

- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile).

- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).

- Excellent planning, organizing, and time management skills.

- Strong risk management and problem-solving abilities.

- Budget management and financial acumen.

Wealth Management Experience:

- Solid understanding of wealth management principles, products and services.

- Familiarity with wealth management processes, such as client onboarding, portfolio management, and financial planning.

- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the wealth management industry.

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Business Administration, Information Technology).

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certification is often preferred.

- Experience in Wealth management domain Understanding of portfolio management, hedge funds, equities, fixed income products, mutual funds.

- Trade life cycle exposure preferred.

- Must have Project Manager experience.

- Should have worked in Agile environment.
