About the Brand Partnership Team
The role is a part of the media brands 'Brand Partnerships' team. This team focuses on brand solutions and concept selling as a mandate across digital, television and on-ground platforms. The brand boasts of an integrated, platform-agnostic approach when partnering brands. They are in the business of selling ideas and building IPs in close partnership with their clients. These ideas necessarily involve creating high quality and engaging content for a premium, evolved audience of decision-makers, executives, entrepreneurs and investors.
About the Role
Brand partnerships is essentially an ad sales role where the candidate is expected to generate revenue from leading brands, either directly or through their agencies. Revenue solutions from the brand can include multi-format content ideas spanning branded native content, premium display inventory, on-ground events, sponsorships, digital videos, social media and more. The candidate will represent the brands capabilities across platforms i.e digital, broadcast and on-ground. Appended below are a few role pointers:
- Act as the brand ambassador with clients and agencies in the territory
- Understand the brief given by the agency/client on brand positioning, brand/campaign objectives and marketing challenges and translate them internally so as to enable a customised proposal
- Originate, facilitate and own the content solution process for the client - From presenting the brief internally to the branded content/marketing teams TO ensuring a customised proposal is presented TO pitching the same to client stakeholders TO closing the negotiation and supervising execution of the deal successfully
- Build strong relationships with the key/senior management team at agencies and clients
- Work closely with in-house teams including the content, marketing and product teams to ensure successful conceptualisation and execution of ideas and plans and which adhere to the brands editorial standards and commercial guidelines.
- Assist the leadership team in devising best-fit monetisation strategies for the territory including sharing relevant market information and spotting trends and helping shape commercial agenda
- Ensure revenue targets achievement
