Seeking an exceptionally talented Lead for Brand Marketing to drive brand awareness and sale of inhouse products. S/he will own brand communication for the company and its products and be responsible for 360 degree brand communication across channels (digital & offline) and spanning insights, campaign design, media planning and execution. In particular, s/he will be responsible for communication and user experience across owned media (website - desktop and mobile site; mobile app and social) and paid media (all advertising across digital and offline channels).
Client focus :
Applicants must have prior experience managing creative and media agencies and have a flair for creative campaign execution. S/he will work with market research agency, creative agency and media planning agency to execute marketing programs end-to-end.
Applicants need to be the champion and architect of their ideas. We're looking for a leader with strong ownership over the outcome and who can carry our voice and our brand to new heights. This role will be responsible for starting up new marketing programs, testing aggressively, and prioritizing initiatives to scale branding and acquisition marketing efforts.
1. Developing new categories within brand along with New Product Development responsibilities, collateral materials for ATL, BTL activities, product mix
2. Consumer research & insight, proactive approach for new launches & campaigns
3. Develops a strategy for the brand in alignment with the corporate plans and overall marketing plans.
4. Understands & defines the brand identity & align all the brands- plans accordingly
5. Coordinates with advertising & research agencies as well as consultants to develop suitable brand initiatives to position the brand in keeping with the above identity
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of relevant work experience managing brands in consumer companies - CPG, automotive, ecommerce, telecom, BFSI
- Detailed experience with all key messaging tools including segmentation, creative briefs and commercial innovation
- Proficient at the development of messaging and creative briefs and translating customer insights into impactful benefits and reasons to believe that also inspire customer and influencer socialization
- Has experience managing and working with market research, creative and media agencies. Evaluates copy and creative execution and provides constructive feedback to agencies
- Understands digital and offline media, appreciates digital/web technologies for marketing programs, has experience working with digital marketing and analytics platforms
- Understand media planning and buying across TV, Print, Outdoor, Radio and Ground Activations
- Able to effectively manage and optimize a multi-million-dollar marketing budgets
- Able to plan strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution. Able to develop logic chain that supports conclusions and recommendations even when confronted with imperfect / incomplete data
MBA degree from tier 1 institute
