Brand Manager (2007 to 2009 batch only)
EXPECTED END RESULTS/MAJOR ACTIVITIES
1. Achievement of topline, market share and bottomline targets for the brand assigned
- Development of marketing objectives - short term & long term
2. Developing and implementing brand communication, activation, media plans, PR initiatives for the brand assigned
- Liaison with advertising / media / PR agencies to prepare detailed marketing communication
- Liaison with trade / rural marketing teams to decide & roll-out brand initiatives
3. Strengthening brand equity & leveraging the same
- Analyzing brand health measures / tracks on a regular basis
- Developing consumer / segment specific initiatives to drive equity
4. Portfolio management for the brand assigned
- Competitor / Consumer analysis
- Pricing strategy
5. Efficient utilization of brand support activities (BSA) budgets for the brands assigned
- Detailed financial planning and monitoring the same on a regular basis
The role will require to regularly interact with the cross functional teams for understanding the business imperatives and assist them with market insights. The cross functional teams could include:
- Sales
- Research & Development
- International Operations
- MBA from a Premier Institute
- Understanding/Appreciation of marketing such as customer segmentation, brand and product management, brand communication, promotions, market research, etc.
- The candidate should be 2007 to 2009 pass out with experience in marketing in an FMCG
