One of my esteemed Liquor MNC in wines and Spirit. The world's leading spirits selling conglomerate.
My client is looking for an Brand Manager/ Manager-Marketing
The job location shall be Gurgaon.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Brand Delivery:
- Annual business objectives with regard to market share, sales and volumes for a Domestic Brand
- Brand equity scores
2. Brand Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and Implement local brand & portfolio strategies in lines with the Global brand strategy
- Translate them in terms of defining the objectives, prioritizing the actions, mobilizing the key stake holders to achieve the plan.
- Develop and implement brand promotional activities across various touch points.
- Brand P&L and channel strategy, and put the strategy in action
3. Brand Communication:
- Develop and deliver distinctive communication strategy in line with the global brand strategy and positioning.
- Leverage digital media initiatives to further strengthen the brand activation.
- Develop and source/ replicate merchandising material and promotional material
- Deep understanding on media, with regard to planning and buying
4. Brand Activation:
- Identify and deploy best practices for improved promotional activities.
- Activate the brand through brand education and advocacy - consumer, trade and internal
- Translate global brand strategy into local brand ATL, activation & promotion strategy.
- Understanding of printing, POS material development
- Build positive brand equity with target consumers by associating with on-brand lifestyle events & securing appropriate partnerships/sponsorships
- Seek opportunities to secure earned media in the appropriate channels, on-line and off-line publications
- Complete ownership of new promotional ideas and activities to achieve competitive advantage.
- Explore on the ground initiatives and innovations in lines with strategic objectives
5. Consumer Insight and Market Intelligence
- Lead the analysis and reporting of market and competitor trends to identify salient business issues/ opportunities, working closely with divisional sales/ marketing teams as necessary
- Understand the consumer and shopper behavior to identify trends in the brand.
- Assist with the development of strategic brand review by analyzing category opportunities, identifying key consumer targets, innovation opportunities and activation strategies
6. Training and People Development
- Lead the team of brand ambassadors, create a positive working relationships and also build a high performance culture within the team
- Leverage the capabilities of the larger team (immediate brand team, cross functional teams and agencies)
- Develop and coach direct report, as well as junior staff across the brand
QUALIFICATIONS:
Post Graduate in Marketing Management from a Premier B School
