Purpose of the role:
- Brand Building and Strategizing growth of Plant Nutrition Product (PNP) and Plant Protection Chemical (PPC) segments
Job Profile:
- Budgeting (Marketing budget) for marketing and branding activities
- Identify and analyse requirements of both internal and external customers, develop marketing strategies, align with corporate plan, coordinate and assist execution of the strategies in order to meet marketing needs.
- Preparing strategies for improving loyalty of channel partners & implementing it.
- Monitoring deployment of marketing inputs, monitoring effectiveness of campaigns and introduce strategies for improvement.
- Monitoring product distribution and consumer reactions through focus groups and market research.
- Working out product positioning strategies, coordinating execution of the same including launch programs
- Scan external and internal environment, prepare marketing plan for allocated products, plan strategies in order to achieve market share and profits for allocated brands.
- Researching markets, monitoring market trends and identifying potential areas for business growth.
- Analyse market research data, identify/ analyse gaps in product portfolio, evaluate and present business case for new product launch to strengthen market share.
- Overseeing the production of TV advertisements, newspaper and magazine advertisements, direct mail packs, e-mail campaigns, websites, exhibition stands, road shows and liaising with art designers, copywriters, media buyers and printers.
- Supervising the sign off of marketing literature, packing materials and campaigns, liaising with legal and compliance personnel, ensuring the designs and messages meet the company brand and regulatory guidelines.
- Networking with competitors, Government Agencies/Departments and channel partners to keep abreast of the latest developments and then use the information for strategizing.
Person Profile:
- MBA with specialization in Marketing from a Tier II institution with at least 6 years’ experience in branding/marketing activities of which at least 4 years in brand management with special focus on rural marketing.
- Experience in non-agri. input industries such as FMCG / Drugs / Automobiles/ Telecom/Paints etc. would be preferred.
- Good at networking and strategies.
- Innovative, smart and articulate with good presentation, PR & liaison skills
