Job Description: Brand Manager
Location: Chennai

Role Summary :
The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a Brand Marketing Plan for a well-known brand in India. The role focuses on achieving goals related to brand equity, market share, sales value, profit, and consumer well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Support the Marketing Manager in developing the brand strategy.
- Develop and execute the operational Brand Plan, including demand forecasts, new product/market/channel initiatives, and marketing strategies (digital, trade, and influencer marketing).
- Gain consumer and customer insights to fuel brand ideas.
- Lead collaboration with internal teams and external agencies to ensure brand initiatives are implemented smoothly.
- Measure and analyze brand performance, learning from results to inform future strategies.
Key Traits & Skills:
- Passionate about consumer delight and well-being.
- Creative, curious, collaborative, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong understanding of Brand Strategy, Market Research, Trade Marketing, and Communication Planning.
- Experience with Brand P&L management and budget oversight.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
Candidate Profile:
- MBA from a top Management Institute.
- 5-6 years of experience, with 2-3 years in Branding and Marketing in FMCG.
- Must be willing to travel 5-7 days a month.
Reports to the Head of India Marketing.
