A brand Manager opportunity with one of the leading brands in India
1. Scope of the role - She/ he will be responsible for the growth of the innovations portfolio for the fragrances business by driving new product launches and innovation strategies for growth on pillar products.
- She/he will drive the innovation strategy of the business, which will include building and nurturing a portfolio of brand(s)/sub-brands and products in line with business goals - based on a deep understanding of market, consumers and competition
- To work with the business to arrive at sharply defined marketing objectives and annual plans in order to deliver required business growth and GC.
- To execute marketing and product plans in line with budgets and timelines
2. Job Profile
- To own and run the innovation piece for the fragrances portfolio
- Identifying new opportunities for the fragrance business
- Managing the innovation funnel from idea stage to launch stage
- Managing a cross-functional team towards launch of new products
- Devising and driving a strong innovation strategy for the company, which includes :
- Developing an innovation pipeline in line with market/ consumer requirements and to grow the portfolio in line with stated business objectives
- Drive launch of new products as per calendar by overseeing product development, supply chain and marketing inputs
- Pricing of new and existing products to deliver budgeted margins.
- Regular analysis of product performance to arrive at necessary action plan.
- To develop and manage an exciting brand portfolio of fragrances division- in line with market potential, growth objectives and consumer understanding.
- To help define growth path for the business and input into the business plans for future growth.
- To develop annual marketing plans for the business - in line with stated business objectives.
- To formulate and execute the launch and marketing plans in line with timelines and budgets-and achieve the targeted marketing objectives. This includes
- Mass media, local level advertising, BTL & PR, Digital media, Channel specific promotions, etc.
- Driving POS/ VM plan for the business
- Retail marketing activities through tie-ups & BTLs.
- To manage the overall marketing budget of the innovations portfolio.
- To monitor and manage key impact metrics including GC and MC on the innovations
