Looking for a Brand Manager for a large FMCG Conglomerate, at Kolkata.

A Post Graduate in Management / MBA in Marketing from IIM/XLRI/MDI/S P JAIN/FMS etc. with around 6 years of Brand Marketing experience in a large FMCG Co. ( preferably from the Health & Personal Care, Foods ). If from 2-Tier B School - exp range will be around 10 years.

KRA'S :

1. Analyzing the product category.

Analyse the industry trends, consumer behaviors, internal business imperatives, industry scenario to conceptualize region wise volume projections;

2. Brand Planning

Analyse the market research data, external market study results with respect to growth prospects, changes in brand positioning, brand health; Provide inputs on brand positioning and brand initiatives for the year

3. Liaison with AD agencies, Graphic design house, marketing research agencies, Packaging vendors.

Gather inputs from market research data, consumer insights for preparation new product brief; Conceptualise and plan for merchandising initiatives (ideation of merchandise, cost, design etc) for the new product launch; Coordinate with packaging team for new product packaging details; Coordinate with S&OP team for updation of information like new product pricing, packaging details, product bar code, select market for launch etc in the system; Prepare launch brief for TM&D covering product benchmarks, distribution channels, merchandising details etc;

4. Develop platforms of communication for the brand that can be best suited for the product.

Prepare communication brief detailing the need for brand communication, priority market and target segment for the communication; socio-economic class of target segment; brand definition etc;

5. Packaging Development

Prepare packaging brief covering brand positioning, priority market and socio economic class of target segment, key consumer insights, legal mandatory's, industry scenario, packaging trends, and market competitiveness of the product IN ORDER TO ensure timely development of the packaging as per the product requirements and market insights.

6. Brand promotions

Evaluate the need for consumer promotion by analyzing region wise outlet wise purchase pattern of retailers, competitive landscape with respect to consumer promotion schemes; Conceptualise consumer promotion schemes (covering the objective, mechanism, merchandise etc) and prepare promotion brief;
