About our Client : Our client is a premium international player in the confectioneries industry in India. Well established in the Indian market, they are looking to grow and mentor development of the business and take it to new heights. They are poised to grow rapidly and need a strong Brand manager to bring fresh and innovative ideas to develop brand & product. The key task for this role is to make this portfolio profitable by re-staging, innovating and re-energizing the brand

Job Description: Reporting to the Marketing manager, the incumbent will be responsible for:

Innovation:

- Identify need gaps and develop concepts closely working with Global Knowledge Insights Team; Scoping out the project plan (in consultation with R&D, Packaging and Supply Chain Team); Commercialize (working closely with the finance team, Trade marketing team, Sales team) and Driving end to end innovation process (stage-gate presentations).

- There is a lot of emphasis on project management as part of this role. Right from the creation of the project plan, to updates in a timely manner along with stakeholder's alignment (across functions) which would include strategically influencing and networking with the key stakeholders to build commitment for flawless execution of projects across regions

- Post project launch initiatives would involve tracking and measuring the launch on metrics.

Brand Building:

- Closely work with agencies to activate brands which will generate awareness and trials.

- Track & evaluate the effectiveness of activations.

- Liaise with trade marketing and extend support to drive business.

Brand Financials:

- Closely work with finance and identify opportunities to improve margins.

The Successful Candidate:

- MBA with specialization in Marketing or Marketing & Finance

- 5 - 7 years of relevant experience - Brand management & Product launch experience in FMCG business

- Ideal candidate for this role should be able to connect, collaborate and convince the cross functional team members and drive the execution of the innovation projects.

- He /She should have proven project management skills.
